StackPath user permissions make it easy to adjust which users have access to specific stacks and account billing details. This article will walk through the process of setting up permissions for users. Please note that only users with Admin level access are able to set permissions.
- Log into the StackPath Control Portal
- Select your profile in the top right of the StackPath Portal and navigate to User Management.
- Select the "Edit" button next to the account you wish to edit.
- Towards the bottom of the page you can edit the Permission levels you can assign to the user.
Permission Levels Defined
There are three permissions levels to chose from:
All Stacks - This will give the user access and permissions to edit all stacks in the account and nothing else.
All Stacks + Billing - This will give the user access to all stacks and the billing portal of your account. This is essentially admin privileges for your account. Users with these permissions can modify other user permissions. Please keep in mind that this access contains sensitive information and should only be given to users who need access.
Users without the All Stacks + Billing permissions will not have access to the other portions of the control panel, such as the User Management and Billing. When users try to access another page, they will receive a message saying "Permission Denied".
Stack Level - This will give you a drop-down when clicked to let you choose from the list of stacks you have on your account. You can pick and choose which stacks you wish to assign access to for the user.
