WinSCP is a popular file manager client for Windows that can be used with StackPath Object Storage by following the instructions below.
Note: The following example uses the StackPath Object Storage Endpoint URL for us-east. You will need to use the appropriate endpoint URL for your bucket which is relative to the region your bucket was created in.
StackPath Endpoint URL's
Each region has it's own endpoint URL that you will need to use in order for Cyberduck to properly connect to your bucket. Please find the list of Endpoint URLs below:
us-east: s3.us-east.stackpathstorage.com or s3.stackpathstorage.com
Configuring WinSCP with StackPath Object Storage
- Open WinSCP, the login prompt should automatically pop up to make a new connection
- Make sure the left side of login prompt has "new site" selected
- Select Amazon S3 under file protocol
- Change s3.amazonaws.com to s3.stackpathstorage.com in the Host name field. Enter in your StackPath Object Storage API Access Key and your StackPath Object Storage API Secret Key in the appropriate fields and select login.
Note: The bucket used for this example is located in us-east so s3.stackpathstorage.com is used as the Host name. If the bucket were in us-west, s3.us-west.stackpathstorage.com should be used instead.
