In order to provide additional security for user accounts, StackPath now requires email verification for users. This verification must be completed once for each user when making any changes that would affect billing.
If you have just signed up for an account, you will immediately see the same verification page:
Clicking on the link in that email will serve to verify you, after which you will be able to continue with the process of signing up for our services.
If you are a current user, you will not need to verify your email while using services that are already enabled on your account. If you would like to, you can trigger both phone and email verification from your profile page:
This page can be found by opening the dropdown from your user icon in the top right corner, and selecting "Profile".
As a current user, you will need to verify your email if you want to add a service that is not already enabled (i.e. if you are currently paying for CDN only, and wish to enable WAF on your account).
If you attempt to activate a service which is not already enabled on your account (and you have not already verified your email) you will see a screen which looks like this:
Clicking on the link in that email will serve to verify you, after which you will be able to continue with the process of activating the service.
If you have encountered the verification page but have not received the verification email:
- Double-check that you are checking the inbox for the email address that you have signed up with
- Check your spam folder to ensure that the verification email has not been filtered out
If you still cannot find the verification email, you can contact StackPath support via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via live chat by clicking the Help button in the bottom corner of the customer portal.
